The “Natural Intelligence” collection is a celebration of the creative genius which finds such eloquent expression in the forms and patterns of the flowers and plants of our gardens.

 

It is a call to recognise that it is this fundamental, ubiquitous “Natural Intelligence” which provides the foundation and the inspiration for all which is subsequently generated by reference to it.

 

These images  reveal principles of design which transcend distinctions between animal and plant, physical and metaphysical… 💚✨

 

As those lines are blurred and the pervasive intelligence, with which we too are undeniably infused, is recognized, we are perhaps more capable of seeing ourselves as both the observer and the observed, our attention as a part of nature’s experience of its own glorious creative expression.

 

The images are captured and presented with a commitment to authenticity in terms of the forms and colours of the subjects.

 

At the heart of this series is my invitation to the audience to consider that the truth, as revealed in nature’s sublime expression, is more fundamentally enchanting, more magical than our “generated" fantasies.

 

 This exhibition is, above all, a celebration of the mind which permeates her signature across energetic, physical, and imaginative boundaries..

 

Adjustments to image density, noise reduction and spot removal are utilised only to the extent that they help reveal the underlying intelligence of the authentic subject.
